Martin Miller founded M J Miller & Co in 2003. Many of the clients who came to us in those early years are still with us now.
Our story
Martin started the firm in 2003 and it became a limited company, M J Miller & Co Ltd, in 2007. For years we were based on Gidlow Lane. In 2026 we moved to the Wigan Investment Centre on Waterside Drive.
We specialise in sole traders, partnerships and small to medium sized companies. Every client gets a free initial consultation, and our fees are fixed and agreed in advance.
Beyond the accounts and the tax, we help clients spot the parts of the business that could be working better, and suggest what to do about them. With our knowledge and experience, the service is tailored to you, not taken off a shelf.
Qualified and regulated
We are a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants, supervised by ACCA, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Martin is a Fellow of ACCA and of the AAT. Across the team you'll find ACCA and AAT qualified accountants, and a payroll specialist with the PM.Dip.
